Slight update on this having spoken ot Josh yesterday .
1 He had a lot of interest at Beltring , coupled with whats coming through on here I reckon this event should get the numbers
2 Re rules , he reckoned CW was late coming through with the ammended ones, hence went with what he had. He's not precious about them , in fact our conversation went along the lines of get the scenario up and running the rules are just distracting at the mo . Bear in mind his rules are also aimed at Reenactors who haven't airsofted much before, hence the "roles" etc . He felt the fuss over the paintballs was a bit OTT, as he said they're will be one of two of these in play for specific tasks only, it's not like every squad will be isssued two. As he said as long as the marshalls and leaders undersatnd the rules, most of them won't effect the players dramaitically .
3 Booking will open on 3rd August , hopefully his webby will be updated by them .
4 I asked him what he wanted from us ?. His answer was this :-
August , help get bums on seats and people booked up
Sept /Oct , we will have a role to plan in the planning of the scenario / gameplay . He not planning on starting this work until then
On the day - normal roles we take as leaders/organisers etc . He did say we could play as one force against his team if we liked ( CiA German / Gunman Allied) Only a suggestion at this stage ,
He was cool with the fact none of us could be arsed with "Operations" although if you can make it it would be good.
He is a lot easier ot deal with in the flesh so to speak .
Point 2: Well, I suppose we were guilty of procrastinating and pontificating over these a bit! 
Well, with the weekender part of Operations out of the way we now have a game to go to on the 23rd Sept. Anyone up for it?

And not up for it myself as I've too much on IED E&E, Wotan, TA5 and DDay .
Sorry cant make that one as I'm djing that weekend and evne if i wasnt its a bit far for me wiht F&Os nam game the week after.
